Rhode Island Housing’s Margy Thurber Recognized by Kent Washington Association of REALTORS®
Recipient of both the President’s Choice and Affiliate of the Year Awards at the REALTORS® Choice Annual Recognition Night
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – April 17, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — Margy Thurber, sales manager for Rhode Island Housing, has been honored with two awards from the Kent Washington Association of Realtors. Both awards were presented to Thurber at the REALTORS® Choice Annual Recognition Night at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick on March 28.
The President’s Choice Award was presented to Thurber in recognition of her outstanding support of the Association in 2012. She also received The Affiliate of the Year Award, given to an affiliate member who stands out in the Association for generous contributions of time and energy.
Award winners were chosen from nominations placed by members of the Association. “I am truly honored to receive both of these awards from the Kent Washington Association of REALTORS®,” said Thurber. “I have great respect for the members of the board as well as the Association’s many members, and to be recognized by my peers in this fashion is a wonderful compliment.”
Thurber, who has been in the Real Estate industry for more than 30 years, manages the loan originator staff at Rhode Island Housing. “Margy is a well-respected and crucial member of our Rhode Island Housing team,” said Cathleen Paniccia, director of homeownership at Rhode Island Housing. “Everyone who works with her, both colleagues and customers, benefits from her knowledge, expertise and dedication. We are all very proud of her for receiving this much-deserved honor.”
Thurber is a resident of Scituate, Rhode Island. She has been a member of Rhode Island Housing’s Homeownership team since 1999.
